Specialty/area of interest
I am currently pursuing my masters in Historic Preservation at Eastern Michigan University, and also employed as a research assistant for a grant funded by NPS to continue work identifying locations related to African American Civil Rights leaders on Detroit's East Side. Formerly, I worked full-time as a conservation technician, restoring and preserving historic architectural features including plaster, wood, metallic leaf, decorative paints and glazes, metals, glass and masonry.
