The Preservation Trades Network Presents the 21st Annual
International Preservation Trades Workshop
"Makin' It By Hand"
September 8-10, 2017
This year's IPTW will be the 21st anniversary and we are excited for everyone to join us in Detroit! This year’s event will be held at Belle Isle Park with the Detroit Boat Club as the central location for the event. Belle Isle Park is a recreational island located in the Detroit River between Michigan and Canada. The park opened in 1845 and was designed by famed landscape artist Frederick Law Olmstead. The park is home to amazing architecture, statues, fountains, and manmade lagoons. The Detroit Boat Club was constructed in 1902 in the Mediterranean style and was the home for the oldest boat club in America.
Pre-conference workshops are in the works, focusing on steel window repair, masonry repairs, and lead. On Saturday night the yearly dinner and auction will be held, to benefit the PTN Misia Leonard Scholarship Fund.
We hope you can join us for the 21st anniversary of IPTW!
